KEDRA PRESS RELEASE

Dallas, TX (August 28, 2019) - Novastone International partnered with Solara Custom Doors to introduce their newest product line: ELEVATE by MUSEUM. The soft opening was held at their Flagship Showroom in the Design District of Dallas. The event had a great turnout, with about 50 people in attendance from all aspects of the design community. Wine and Hors d’oeuvres were served throughout the night.

After a welcoming introduction by Malena Gutierrez from the Solara team, Justin McCollum from Novastone gave a short overview of ELEVATE in the form of a presentation. McCollum covered an array of topics such as: the origin of ELEVATE in Spain, many of the advantages over other surface coverings like quartz or granite, and the different types of applications that ELEVATE can be used for. In the presentation, McCollum also showed examples of environments covered in ELEVATE from floor to ceiling in different applications to serve as inspiration for attendees’ future projects.

The highlight of the night was the live demonstration of the unalterable resistance of ELEVATE to scratching and staining given by Dany Laugesen and Rodrigo Aguilar. Laugesen and Aguilar demonstrated real-life examples of what may happen to a countertop during daily use. All items were cleaned off with ease solely with the help of household multi-surface cleaners, whereas on porous surfaces like granite, they would have stained rather quickly. However, perhaps most impressive was the comparison between applying muriatic acid directly onto natural stone versus ELEVATE and seeing how the acid readily reacted with the stone and had absolutely no effect on the ELEVATE piece.

After the live demonstration, guests mingled and walked around the showroom to look at installed examples of ELEVATE being used as chimney mantels, bars, backsplashes, and conference room tables. Also on display were 6 full-size slabs in the Conference Room where guests could really appreciate the magnitude and beauty of ELEVATE.

Novastone and Solara are immensely excited to continue to introduce their Unalterable surfaces to the market and look forward to what is to come in the near future.
