GUILLERMO AGUILAR-VALDÉS, CEO

Guillermo has over 30 years of experience in the natural stone industry. He has worked alongside some of the largest natural stone and ceramic companies in the world, including Arizona Tile, Marazzi, Marmol Export USA, DalTile, PoolCorp, Master Tile, Bedrosians Tile, MS Internationa, Republic Elite, and Thomasville Furniture. As CEO of Intermarmol and Interstone, Guillermo was at the pinnacle of innovation and technology development for the tile, pool coping, ceramic mosaics, and countertop sectors of the industry.

Guillermo received a BS of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology. He is originally from Torreón, México, but has resided in the Dallas area with his family since 2001.

 

RODRIGO AGUILAR-PEÑA, VP OF MARKETING AND SALES

Rodrigo received a BA in Business Administration and Marketing from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. He has worked in the natural stone industry since 2015 and brings extensive customer service and sales experience to Novastone. He previously served as Director of National Accounts at Interstone, where he managed accounts with some of the largest names in the industry, and now heads the Marketing Department and oversees the day-to-day business of the Dallas operations.

 

GUILLERMO AGUILAR-PEÑA, VP OF SOURCING AND SUPPLY-CHAIN

Guillermo holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He spent more than 3 years in the Multi-Family and Property Management industry before making the move into the natural stone business in 2016. His experience in property management and his engineering background give him a unique perspective on sourcing materials, fabrication processes, production planning, and most importantly, a client-based point of view when selecting materials for Novastone’s catalogs and when developing the ideal products to fit our client’s needs. In addition to heading the Sourcing and Supply-Chain departments, Guillermo is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our factory in Torreón, México.
